View Video TributeMrs. Carrie Lee Ingram Phillips, 95, died at her residence on Hopewell Road in Culleoka on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers officiating. Burial will follow in Bryant Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Leukemia Society, 404 BNA Drive, Suite 102, Nashville, TN 37217. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Daniel Mack Ingram and Carrie West Ingram. She was a graduate of Marshall County High School and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She taught school at different times in Maury County, Marshall County, Lincoln County and Giles County. She was a member of Bigbyville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lee Phillips of Culleoka; sister, Clara Grubbs of Culleoka; grandchildren, Mary (Ronnie) Clark and John David Cothran, both of Culleoka, Melissa (Todd) Haley of Cumming, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Kristin Pylant, Karen Pylant, Lauren Haley, Jack Haley; and a great-great grandchild, Ava Tyler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Porter Phillips on June 29, 1998. Pallbearers will be John David Cothran, Herbert Porter, Ronnie Clark, Todd Haley, Johnny Cothran and Dennis Wentzel.
