Cecil T. Andrews Cecil Taylor Andrews, 86, consultant, former plant manager for Columbia Rock Products and resident of North Laurel Circle, died Friday, May 21, 2004, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Smith and Jeff Jacob officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 222 West Seventh Street, Columbia, TN 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Arch Edgar Andrews and Edna Pearl Hardison Andrews. Mr. Andrews served in the U. S. Navy during World War II and was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Minnie Ruth McMeen Andrews of Columbia; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn (Larry) Haynes of Murfreesboro; Mrs. Priscilla (Fred) Enters of Ashland City; Mrs. Cecilia (Tommy) Franklin of Goodlettsville; five grandchildren, Russ Haynes, Curt Haynes, Andrew Franklin, Amanda Enters, and Tracy Mooney; one great grandchild, Caroline Haynes; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Lura Mae Cummins. Active pallbearers will be Douglas Jones, Bobby Jones, Jim Young, Mike McMeen, Russ Haynes, Curt Haynes, Lynn Harding, Laran Philpott, B. J. Cline, and Cyle Patty. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Ayres Whitney Sunday School Class, Mack Holt, Joe Webb, Joe Parris, Allen Pressnell, Jon Pressnell, Caswell Hayes, Bobby Kilpatrick, Mrs. W. J. Davis; and a special thanks to Dr. Thomas Dake and Dr. Belinda Bart.
