MR. CHARLES HUBERT BROWNMr. Charles Hubert Brown, 73, retired employee of Union Carbide, died Tuesday, March 25, 2003, at his residence on Will Brown Road in Spring Hill.Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bobby Sampson officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday after 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He was a member of Old Lasea Church of Christ.Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Sarah Frances Winchester Brown of Spring Hill; four sons, Charles Dwight Brown, Douglas Allen (Judy Ann) Brown, Barry Owen Brown, Scottie Ray (Karen) Brown all of Spring Hill; one brother, Joe Fletcher (Nell) Brown of Columbia; three grandchildren, Cindy Ann (Jason) Way, David Allen Brown, Tiffany Kay Brown all of Spring Hill; two step-grandchildren, Ashley Cromer, Autumn Cromer both of Spring Hill, and three great-grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Way, Matthew Allen Way, Aaron Tyler Way all of Spring Hill.He was preceded in death by one son, Mark Wayne Brown.Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Old Lasea Church of Christ.
