Charles William "CW" Campbell

Charles William "C. W." Campbell, 77, retired School Resource Officer, died Thursday, September 29, 2016 at his residence on Mooresville Pike. A memorial service will be conducted Monday at 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Randy McNeece officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Maury County Sheriff's Department Shop With a Cop, P. O. Born December 13, 1938 in Maury County, he was the son of the late William Cox Campbell and the late Pauline Parham Campbell. He was married to Pattie Martin Campbell who preceded him in death August 12, 2011. Mr. Campbell served with the Maury County Sheriff Department for seventeen years and also owned his own landscaping business, Landscape Enterprise. He was a Mason and a Shriner and a member of Spencer Hill Church of Christ. Survivors include his son, Tommy (Missy) Campbell of Lenoir City; brothers, Carter (Elaine) Campbell and Dean (Anna Marie) Campbell, both of Columbia; grandchildren, Justin Campbell and John Campbell, both of Lenoir City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Helton, Enoch George, Mike Barnes, Roscoe Voss, Kyle Cheek, Jeff Clardy, Bobby Kilpatrick, and Richard Cothron.
