CHARLES "DUSTY" DUSTINCharles Morris "Dusty" Dustin, 73, retired Baptist minister and resident of Park Plus Court, died Thursday, January 9, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital.Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Craven officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M., Monday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. and Tuesday after 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.Memorials may be made to Heritage Manor of Columbia, 1410 Trotwood Ave., Columbia, TN 38401.A native of Los Angeles, California, he was the son of the late Charles Fredrick Dustin and Margaret Spicer Dustin. Mr. Dustin attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina and served in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church.Survivors include his wife, Felicia Sue Mincey Dustin of Columbia; three daughters, Betty (Scott) Young of Charlotte, North Carolina; Mary (David) Kerstiens of Matthews, North Carolina; Kristal Ramos of Owensboro, Kentucky; one son, Jeff (Tina) Everett of Owensboro, Kentucky; one sister, Margaret Dustin Nackos of Thousand Oaks, California; eleven grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.He was preceded in death by one son, Bill Dustin.Pallbearers will be Ricky Lemay, Darrell Hickman, and Joe Hickman.
