CHARLES B. LANE Mr. Charles Bluford Lane, 70, retired from Ford Motor Company in Belleville, Michigan where he made his home for over 40 years, died Saturday, December 21, 2002 at his residence on Rachel Road in Pulaski. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesdayat 10:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Howard Wright officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery in Culleoka with military honors at the graveside provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends after 3:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. He served in the U. S. Army in Korea and was a 32 degree Mason. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lambert Lane of Pulaski; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Terry Little of Culleoka; two sons and daughters-in-law, John and Linda Lane of Franklin, George and Cathey Prince of Gahanna, Ohio; two sisters, Magdaline Hitchcock of Chillicothe, Ohio and Ginger Duncan of Middlesboro, Kentucky; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Sue Lane of Middlesboro, Kentucky and Leo and Charlene Lane of Ypsilanti, Michigan; an aunt, Osie Cobb of Middlesboro, Kentucky; eight-grandchildren, Kasey Little, Brad Little, Jason Passini, Ian Lane, Ben Lane, Whitney Prince, Shannon Prince, Alex Prince; special family friend, Dean Collins of Pulaski; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Lane. Ian Lane, Jason Passini, Ben Lane, Alex Prince, Brad Little will serve as active pallbearers. Men of the Pulaski Church of God will serve as honorary pallbearers.
