CHARLES H. "BUG" PETERS Mr. Charles Herman "Bug" Peters, 58 former welder for Beasley Construction Company and a resident of Galloway Street, died Saturday, March 13, 2004 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Elmer Lusk officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Peters and Bonnie Kincaid Peters. Survivors include his wife, Helen Blalock Peters of Columbia; a daughter, Tammy (Bobby) Huckaby of Columbia; a son, Jeff Peters and his girlfriend, Shawna Reese of Columbia; five grandchildren; special friend, Danny Hill; sister, Linda (Walter) Balben of Southport; brother, Larry (Reba) Peters of Kingston Springs; several nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony Peters and Jerry Peters. Active pallbearers are Greg Norman, Jerry Rich, Jorey Williams, Bryan Huckaby, Scott Holmes, Tim McKennon, Randy Peters and Steve L. Shedden. Honorary pallbearers include CCU doctors and nurses at Maury Regional Hospital, Charles "Chuck" Franklin, Galloway Street friends and neighbors and Billy Boshers.
