Charles Sinkeus

Mr. Charles F. Sinkeus Mr. Charles F. Sinkeus, 84, retired from Witco Chemical Company in Chicago, Illinois and resident of the Old Lewisburg Highway in Columbia for the past 10 years, died Saturday, June 12, 2004 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 7:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Father Patrick Connor officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday after 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. He was a communicant of St. Catherine Catholic Church, a member of the Fruit of the Vine and an avid bowler. Survivors include his wife, Opal Fawns Sinkeus of Columbia; four children, Charles J. (Cathy) Sinkeus of Oaklawn, Illinois, Louis Germann of Columbia, Debbie Peterson of Culleoka and James Germann of Columbia; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
