Charlie Garfield "Jack" Gibson, Jr., 74, retired electrician for Morgan Brothers Electric and resident of Yokley Road in Lynnville, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 6:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 5:00 - 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. He served in the United States Army. He enjoyed birdwatching and was a loving father and grandfather. Mr. Gibson was a member of Bethel Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, whom he married August 1, 1964, Omie Williams Gibson of Lynnville; daughters, Regina Lynn Hamlin and Shannon Gibson Terry both of Lynnville; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Michelle (John Ryan) Lowe, Kaleb Matthew Terry, Lukas Ace Terry, Kiara Grace Anderson, Makenzie Lynn Packard, and Makayla Love Packard; sister, Betty (James) Cosby; brothers, Terry (Sue) Gibson, and Ronnie (Faye) Gibson; and several nieces and nephews.
