MRS. EULIS DICKMrs. Chloe Lanius Dick, 74, homemaker and resident of Gravel Hill Road, died Saturday, December 14, 2002 at Williamson Medical Center.Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. J. O. Martin and Rev. William York officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends after 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Wilson County native was the daughter of the late Earl Lambreth Lanius and Addie Elizabeth Allison Lanius. She was a member of the Theta Baptist Church.On December 24, 1948 she married Eulis Dick who preceded her in death October 10, 1997.Survivors include four daughters, Fay (Jerry) Owens, Sandra (Paul) Wall, Janice Harris and Esther (Jerry) Cates, all of Columbia; two sons, Randel Eugene Dick and Ralph Edward Dick, both of Columbia; a brother, James William (Ella) Lanius of Mt. Pleasant; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Bluhmn, Michael Warwick, Joe Bramlett and Tony Ray Harris.
