Christina Jones Hagen

Ms. Christina "Chris" Jones Hagen, 41, formerly of Columbia, died Monday, September 11, 2006 at her residence in Claxton, Tennessee. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Joe Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of Nancy Carole Thurman Jones of Columbia and the late Bobby Gene Jones. She was a 1984 graduate of Columbia Central High School and attended Middle Tennessee State University for two years. Chris loved arts and crafts. She attended the Baptist Church. In addition to her mother she is survived by a son, Matthew Hagen of Clinton; a daughter, Miranda Hagen of Clinton; a brother, Keith Jones of Columbia; a sister, Debbie Minor of Lawrenceburg; one niece; four nephews; one great nephew; and several great nieces. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Elmo and Elizabeth Flowers. Pallbearers will be Joshua Jones, Daniel Jones, Troy Christopher, Sr., Troy Christopher, Jr., Freddie Rich, Jimmy Bloss, Wayne Hickman and Tony Sowell.
