The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late George Johnson Haskins and the late Savannah Rainey Haskins. An enthusiastic traveler, she had visited every state, except Hawaii and Alaska; and had traveled to Canada and Mexico. She especially enjoyed going on vacation with her sister and brother-in-law and seeing the ocean. She was the "rock" of the family and always put others before herself. Faith in her Lord has been Christine's foundation throughout life, and her peace during her last days. Her life of strength, love, and untiring determination will continue to influence the lives she has touched. She was a member of Blue Springs Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Ron) Gick of Columbia; Deborah Chapman Varner of Culleoka; Kathy Chapman (Tommy) Smith of Columbia; very special sister, Alice (Gary) Redding; nephew, Michael Redding; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ronnie Chapman and Terry Wayne Chapman. Grandsons and Great Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
