MRS. CHRISTINE LANCASTER Mrs. Christine Foster Lancaster, 74, resident of Gravel Hill Road, died Thursday, October 30, 2003, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Oliver Pantall, Tommy Fox, and Bob Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Theta Baptist Cemetery. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William Franklin Foster and Sallie Pearl Overstreet Foster. Mrs. Lancaster was very supportive of all the activities of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Theta Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, James "Jimmy" Fowler Lancaster of Theta; one daughter, Mrs. Wanda (Donald) Burns of Theta; two sisters, Mrs. Melba Cheek of Lawrenceburg; Mrs. Doris Chappell of Mt. Joy Community; one brother, Arnold Foster of Columbia; eleven grandchildren, Rhonda Price, Tracy Ford, Gaylene Watson, Christy Ross, Gwendolyn Warf, Ronnie "Boo" Hill, Sandy Hemphill, Amber Cook, Cindy Long, Christopher Lancaster, Daniel Lancaster; and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Sandra Lancaster Potts; and one son, James Daniel "Danny" Lancaster. Pallbearers will be Greg Price, Eddy Hemphill, George Ross, Rodney Long, Tim Warf, Josh Watson, Kenneth Potts, and Larry Green. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Clyde Heflin, Dr. Mark Peters, Dr. Jon Tumen, and Dr. Angelo Canonico.
