View Funeral Webcast Christy Renee Pullum Bennett, 45, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at her residence on Riverside Drive surrounded by her devoted family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Rediker officiating. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born May 13, 1974 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Ray Little and the late Gloria Jean Gray Thomas. She was a graduate of Columbia Central High School class of 1992. On May 13, 2002, she married Brian Bennett. She enjoyed kayaking and was an avid rock collector. Mrs. Bennett was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Brian Bennett of Columbia; twin sons, Willie and Waylon Bennett of Columbia; daughter, Brittany Ring of Nashville; grandchildren, Graysn Ring, Rubyn Ring, Sue Ring, Delilah Ring, Wyatt Ring, and Gracie Ring; aunt, Marlene Gray (John) Kirk of Columbia; cousins, Adam Gray of Murfreesboro and Ashley Kirk of Columbia; mother-in-law, Norma Bennett of Columbia; all the neighborhood children she loved. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, William Hine “Bill” Gray and Bobbie Jean Gray; maternal great grandmother, Ruby Mae Loftin Davis; and her aunt Vicki Gray. The family would like to express a special thanks to Ashton Gifford, Jasmine Chappell, and many more that have loved and cared for her and her family during her illness.
