MRS. CINDY KETCHUM BROOKS Mrs. Cynthia "Cindy" Dawn Ketchum Brooks, 37, resident of Scribner's Mill Road in Lewisburg, died Thursday, November 7, 2002, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 3:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Leukemia Foundation. The Maury County native was the daughter of Sarah Elizabeth Reed Mitchell of Culleoka and the late Neal Ketchum. She was a former employee of Publix Manufacturing and Maury Regional Hospital. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, John William Brooks, Jr. of Lewisburg; two daughters, Casey Jones and Ashley Jones, both of Summertown, one son, Chase Brooks of Lewisburg; mother and stepfather, Sarah Elizabeth and John Mitchell of Culleoka; two sisters, Tracy Crain (Jeff Dale) of Columbia; Kim Ketchum (Jackie Wells) of Culleoka; one brother, Travis (Leeann) Ketchum of Columbia; maternal grandmother, Ruby Reed of Columbia; paternal grandparents, Paul and Marie Tomlinson of Columbia; several close aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, Brandi Crain, Josh Ketchum, Summer Ketchum, and Shelby Crain, all of Culleoka; Andrew Brummitt, Jessica Brummitt, and Aaron Ketchum, all of Columbia; Brooke Seagraves of Lewisburg; special friends, Lisa Riddle of Spring Hill; Sherry Hines of Culleoka; Kelly Roland of Columbia; Farris Smith and Teresia Parkhurst, both of Lewisburg. Pallbearers will be Javier Ruiz, Michael Martin, Steve Carroll, Jamie Reed, Ricky Reed, and Ronnie Seagraves. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. C. Houston Jameson, Dr. John Worthman, Dr. Mark Messenger, and Carey Clifton.
