Clifford Steele Vaughn

Mr. Clifford Steele Vaughn, 71, retired route salesman for Sealtest Milk Company and a resident of Snow Creek Road, died Friday, February 17, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes and Nichols with Reverend Jeffery Lankford officiating. Burial will be in the Warf Cemetery in Hickman County with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The Davidson County native was the son of the late Clifford Kelly Vaughn and Frances Hay Vaughn Yeargin. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Gilliam Vaughn of Columbia; two daughters, Sharon (Jerry) Halpin of Nashville and Sandra (Nadeem) Khan of Germantown; two sons, Ronald Steven Vaughn of Nashville and Michael Wayne (Teresa Mae) Vaughn of Dickson; two step-daughters, Debbie Sullivan and Laraine Morgan, both of Theta; a step-son, Robert (Margo) Andrews of Culleoka; eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley (Dallas) Morgan of Nashville and Brenda (Phil) Byrum of Lawrenceburg and a brother, Barry Vaughn of Nashville. He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Clifford Vaughn and a step-son, Roger Andrews. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
