Clinton Perry Gilbreath

Clinton Perry Gilbreath, 63, First Vice President of CBRE Industrial Properties and resident of Richardson Lane in Culleoka, died Saturday, July 9, 2016 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. at First Family Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Alexander officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.The Maury County native was the son of the late John Robert Gilbreath, Sr. and Kate Perry Gilbreath. For more than twenty years he farmed with Gilbreath Farms and has served as president of Maury County Farmer's Co-Op. An avid Vanderbilt sports fan. Mr. Gilbreath was a former member of the Maury County School Board. He served as Deacon and Sunday school teacher at First Family Baptist Church. He loved reading, traveling, and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, whom he married June 1, 1973, Teresa Vaughn Gilbreath of Culleoka; son, Andrew Gilbreath of Columbia; daughter, Anna Kaye Gilbreath of Orlando, FL; brother, John (Julie) Gilbreath, Jr. of Culleoka; sister, Susan Erwin; nieces and nephews, Brian (Keri) Kincaid, Jamie (Dennis) Smith, Curt (Margaret) Kincaid, Davy (Mallory) Kincaid, Michael (Sarah) Vaughn, Emily (Darren) Gretchko, Jennifer (Chris) Hillenmeyer, Julie (Andy) Crichton, Joanna (Rick) McDonald, Angie (Chris) Shaw, Alexander Erwin, Phillip Vaughn; and great nieces and nephews, Brannon Kincaid, Landon Kincaid, Elyssa Kincaid, Cody Smith, Luke Smith, Alyvia Kincaid, Auston Kincaid, Aubrey Kincaid, Vivian Kincaid, Everett Vaughn, Sarah Ann Crichton, Perry Crichton, Haydon Hillenmeyer, Constance Hillenmeyer, Myles McDonald, Parker McDonald, Charlie McDonald, and Anna Beth McDonald.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his niece, Bethany Erwin; brother-in-law, Joe Erwin; and sister-in-law, Connie Collison Gilbreath.
