Connie Davis Patterson

Mrs. Connie Davis Patterson, 60, resident of Spring Hill, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with James Dickey officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. She was born in Bedford County, the daughter of the late Christine Ivey Davis Potts, and moved to Maury County as a young child. She was a 1966 graduate of Central High School. On July 17, 1971 she married Johnny D. Patterson, Sr. of Columbia, who survives her. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who loved children and often volunteered to keep children for her friends, family and neighbors. She loved her dogs, cats, hummingbirds and beautiful flowers. In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughter, Kasey Bryant of Columbia; her son, Johnny D. "J.P." (Robin Fogle) Patterson, Jr. of Columbia; one granddaughter, Ivey Shea Bryant of Columbia; two brothers, Donald "Donny" (Sheila) Davis of Columbia, Johnny (Debbie) Davis of Duck River; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jesse Davis, Christopher Davis, Johnny Davis, Donald Davis, Antoan Bryant, Jacob Patterson and Cody Patterson.
