MISS CORDELIA PRATT Miss Cordelia Clagett Pratt, 91, retired employee of Tennessee Farm Bureau and resident of Howard Lane, died Tuesday, December 23, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in Centerville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late James Herman Pratt and Emma Bates Pratt. Miss Pratt began her work at Tennessee Farm Bureau in 1943 and retired in 1975. At the time of her retirement, she was Associate Editor of the "Tennessee Farm Bureau News", in which she was responsible for the Farm Bureau Women and The Young Farmers & Homemakers pages. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include one brother, Alonzo Bates Pratt of Atlanta, Georgia; and two nieces, Mrs. Sharon Mattison and Mrs. Jeannine Davis, both of Atlanta. Pallbearers will be Murray Miles, Doug Bates, Houston Parks, Will Dale, Jr., Ronnie Curtis, Page Chamberlain, and Ernest Allen.
