MRS. HAZEL PROCTORMrs. Hazel L. "Daisy" Proctor, 80, wife of James A. Proctor and resident of Early Road, died Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday at Voorhees, Siple & Summerford Funeral Home in Pontiac, Michigan with Pastor William Nichols officiating. Burial will be in Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The family will visit with friends Saturday from noon until time of service at the funeral home.The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Hazel Childress and Georgie Mae Ames Childress. She spent much of her life in White Lake Township, Michigan.In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Beverly Reedy, Shirlee "Sue" Sharpton; two sons, Larry (Martha) Proctor, Robert (Debbie) Gibson; one sister, Nancy (Kermitt) Spurlock; one brother, Claude (Debbie) Childress; one sister-in-law, Dura Childress; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.She was preceded in death by three brothers, Herbert Childress, J.L. Childress and Milford Childress.
