Dan Page "Danny Mc" McAdams, Sr., 78, resident of Hendersonville, died Monday, December 12, 2016 at Hendersonville Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Enoch George and Reverend Joe Evans officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Sherman E. McAdams and Grace Savage McAdams. He was a 1957 graduate of Columbia Military Academy and was employed with Monsanto Chemical Company from 1959 until the plant closed in 1984. After which, he continued his employment with Kimberly Clark Corporation until he retired to be near the water and operate sales and services at Drake's Creek Marina. He was a former EMT for the Maury County Ambulance Service, former Eagle Scout and member of the Columbia Jaycees. In addition to spending time with his family, Mr. McAdams enjoyed fishing, fast cars, boats, motorcycles and drag racing. Survivors include his children, Ricky "Mac" (Gwen) McAdams of Brentwood, Timothy McAdams of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, Jennifer (Larry) Richardson of Columbia, Danny McAdams, Jr. of Eagleville, Jamie McAdams of Spring Hill, and Ben Savage (Ashley) McAdams, Sr. of Columbia; sister-in-law, Marna McAdams of Columbia; grandchildren, Richard Lane McAdams, Eric Christopher McAdams, Ashley Renee Jackson, Hannah Grace Richardson, Samuel Charles Richardson, Daniel Gage McAdams, Audry Erin McAdams, Ella Grace McAdams, Ben Savage McAdams, Jr. and Emerson Page McAdams; great grandchildren, Austin Byrum, Emily Jackson, Bella Rose Jackson, Billy Joe Jackson III, and Jordyn Napier; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard K. McAdams.
