Videos Memories of Danny Burson Mr. Daniel Autley "Danny" Burson, 54, former employee of Saturn and resident of West 14th Street, died Monday, May 16, 2005 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Ward officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Ave., Columbia, TN 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Flint, Michigan native was the son of Virginia Scott Burson of Flint, Michigan and the late Richard Burson. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Burson was employed as an op-tech at Saturn before becoming disabled. Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Pamela Dixon Burson of Columbia; sister, Ann Burson Owens of Flint, Michigan; father-in-law, Richard Dixon of Flint, Michigan; two brothers-in-law, Richard (Debbie) Dixon of Clio, Michigan, Terry (Kathy) Dixon of Swartz Creek, Michigan; several cousins; and his loving cat, Callie. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
