David Owen Bernstein

David Owen Bernstein, 64, resident of Roy Sellers Road, died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. He was the owner and Chef of Vito's Restaurant and executive Chef at Graymere Country Club for many years. Mr. Bernstein was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and his Rottweilers. In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Lorilee Jayne Reynolds Bernstein of Columbia; daughters, Brandi Leigh (Allan) Gartung of Murfreesboro, Erika Leigh Taylor of Spring Hill; honorary son, Jose Mata; brother, Ben (An Fong) Bernstein of Ogden, Utah; grandchildren, Blake Vis, Cole Brady Taylor, and Maddie Brooke Taylor all of Spring Hill; step-sisters, Jan (Gary Thompson) Dresser of Michigan Center, Michigan, Vicki (David) Plummer of Napoleon, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Bryan Taylor.
