David Tillery

Mr. Presley David Tillery, 60, resident of Hampshire, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at Hidden Acres Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Douglas "Buck" Paul officiating. Burial will be in Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Presley Garrett Tillery and Florence Culberson Tillery. He was retired from Stauffer Chemical Co. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Brittney (Randall) Hickman of Lynnville; a sister, Mrs. Nancy (Tom) Coghlan of Columbia; and two grandchildren, Zack Hickman and Tyler Hickman. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Shane Hardison. Pallbearers will be Tyler Hickman, Terry Hickman, Robert Huntley, Mickey Hickman, Steve Henson and Richie Hickman. A special thank you to the staff at Hidden Acres Health Care who will also serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
