Deborah Lynn Hale Borden, 58, died Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at her residence on Milky Way Drive in Pulaski.A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with W.L. Culberson and Judge Bobby Sands officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to the Maury County Animal Shelter, 1233 Mapleash Avenue, Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.Born January 9, 1959 in Rockwood, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Robert Hale and the late Barbra Hall Hale. She served in the National Guard, graduated high school in Manchester, Tennessee and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Martin Methodist College. Earlier in life she worked as a lab tech in Carthage, then was a self-employed truck driver for many years, and more recently a former C.N.A at Morning Pointe Assisted Living and Signature Health Care & Rehabilitation Center. An avid animal lover, Deborah enjoyed raising many different breeds of cats. Survivors include her husband, whom she married January 9, 2008, Jimmy LaDon Borden of Pulaski; daughter, Cary (Alexander) Cass of Cookeville; father and step-mother, Robert and Patsy Hale of Manchester; step-sons, Terry (Marsha) Borden of Hartselle, Alabama; Allen (Audrey) Borden of Palm Beach, Florida; brothers, Jerry (Kathy) Hale; Robby Hale both of Atlanta; and grandchildren, Ethan Cass; Carter Borden; Drake Borden; Evelyn Borden; and Erica Borden.
