View Funeral WebcastMrs. Debra Kay "Debby" Heffington Parker, 57, resident of Snell Road in Lewisburg, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Maury County native was the daughter of Raymond Lee Heffington of Mt. Pleasant and Mary Ellen "Blondie" Brewer Cellan of Columbia. She was a graduate of Hampshire High School. Mrs. Parker was a former secretary for NAHTOD Tool & Die in Dothan, Alabama. She was full of life and love and was very attached to her dogs, Opal, Roxie and Coda. She was raised in the First Church of The Nazarene. Survivors include her husband, Vernon Glenn Parker of Lewisburg; son, Chris Allen of Columbia; father, Ray (Janice) Heffington of Mt. Pleasant; mother, Mary Ellen "Blondie" Brewer Cellan of Columbia; brother, Terry (Cheryl) Church of Columbia; granddaughter, Haley Madison Allen of Lewisburg; niece, Michelle (Chris) Leonard of Columbia; step-daughter, Courtney Parker of Murfreesboro; step-sister, Wanda Stanfill of Mt. Pleasant; step-brother, Eddie Prince of Mt. Pleasant; two great-nieces; one great-nephew; and several cousins, special relatives and friends. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
