Mr. Donald Herschel Gibson, 66, former press operator for Inter City Products in Lewisburg and most recently a resident of Madisonville, Tennnessee, died Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Sweetwater Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Henry Mobley officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Culleoka. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A native of Limestone County, Alabama, he was the son of the late Rev. Herschel H. Gibson and Mable Lewis Gibson and served in the U. S. Army. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Connie Gibson Green of Lewisburg; three grandchildren, James Bradford Lowry of Lynnville, Charles Keith Green, II and Whitley Lynn Green, both of Lewisburg; and his companion for a number of years, Gloria Collins of Madisonville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Gibson Lowry. Men of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ will serve as pallbearers.
