Mr. Donald L. Hill, 59, retired real estate agent and resident of Darks Mill Road, died Monday, March 13, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Johnsons Chapel Cemetery with military honors provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The Maury County native was the son of the late Wilburn Harm Hill and Effie Corinne Potts Hill. He attended school in Santa Fe and served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He owned and operated Donald L. Hill Realty & Auction Company and held an auctioneer's license. He was Past President of Maury County Board of Realtors, a member of Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19 and Disabled American Veterans. He was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Wilkinson Hill of Columbia; one daughter, Mrs. Kimberly (Mark) Turner of Columbia; three sons, Carson Hill, Matthew Hill, Glenn Hill all of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Shirley (Larry) Thomason of Lynnville, Mrs. Holly (Randy) Brady of Mt. Pleasant; five brothers, Sherron Wayne Hill, Dale (Betty) Hill, Roger (Linda) Hill all of Columbia, Dean (Edith) Hill of Franklin, David (Deborah) Hill of Santa Fe; father and mother-in-law, John and Ruby Wilkinson; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Jamie (Brant) Bennett; one brother-in-law, Steve (Tammy) Wilkinson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dudley Eugene Hill. Pallbearers will be Jim Harrison, Todd Currie, Joey Johnson, J.J. Hill, Eric Hill and Tony Seaborn.
