Doris Marie Fry Thomason

Mrs. Doris Marie Fry Thomason, 83, widow of John F. Thomason and resident of Fry Branch Road in Lynnville, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Curtis Dowdy officiating. Burial will be in Lynnwood Cemetery. The Lynnville native was the daughter of the late Robert L. Fry and Bessie Chaffin Fry. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy (Mary "Libby") Thomason, Larry (Shirley) Thomason both of Lynnville, Donnie (Pamela) Thomason of Columbia; eleven grandchildren, Jeff (Lindy) Thomason and Erica (J.R.) Thornsberry both of Culleoka, Mike (Shelly) Thomason, Brent (Holly) Thomason, John Thomason all of Lynnville, Scott (Stephanie) Thomason, Lori (Steven) Ramsey, Michelle (Rob) Orr all of Pulaski, Philip (Melanie) Thomason of Birmingham, AL, Glenda Thomason, Samantha Thomason both of Columbia; seventeen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Moyer. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
