View Funeral Webcast Dorothy Derryberry Johnson, 87, homemaker and resident of Cothran Road, died Friday, October 5, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Joe Macer and Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Born December 14, 1930 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Frank A. Derryberry and the late Virgie Huckaby Derryberry. She was an avid collector of nutcrackers and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Johnson was a member of South Gate Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, whom she married December 16, 1949, Clifford Eugene Johnson, Sr. of Columbia; son, Clifford (Kay) Johnson, Jr. of Columbia; daughters, Diane (David) White of Columbia; Rosemary (Joe) Macer of Columbia; Tammy Kaye Johnson of Columbia; sister, Rebecca Harmon of Columbia; sister-in-law, Bettye Hamby of Memphis; grandchildren, Christopher (Michelle) Johnson; Jeanna Frommel; Regan (Brian) Hartley; Adam David White; Matthew (Melody) Macer; Cassandra (Josh) Turner; Zeb (Dara) Macer; Jonathan (Natalie) Macer; great grandchildren, Kennedy Johnson; Krislin Johnson; Luke Oliver; Adeline Oliver; Charlie Frommel; Hunter Johnson; Brennon White; Kasen White; Paxton White; Sebastian Lamphear; Jack Turner; Dean Turner; Kate Turner; Gatlin Macer; Waverly Macer; Nora Macer; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Derryberry; and sister, Ludie Burns.
