Dorothy M. LaCroix, 91, of Columbia passed away early Monday morning at NHC Maury Regional. She was the daughter of the late Allen and Willie Lentz. She grew up in Campbell’s Station Community and graduated from Culleoka High School. In 1948 she married William J. “Bill” LaCroix who preceded her in death on May 21, 1993. She was a faithful member of Campbell’s Station Church of Christ. Upon the death of her husband, she moved to Columbia and became a member of Graymere Church of Christ. She worked at Dixie Manufacturing Company for over 40 years and after moving to Columbia she became a teacher at Columbia Academy Pre-School. She also worked as a Volunteer at Maury Regional Hospital. A private family graveside service will be held at Friendship Cemetery with Glen Alexander officiating. Survivors include her daughter, Carrol LaCroix (Hillious) Sullivan of Columbia; son, Larry Joe (Joy) LaCroix of Columbia; grandchildren, Kenneth (Amy) Sullivan of Spring Hill, Marc (Mandy) LaCroix of Murfreesboro, Melissa LaCroix (Ryan) Donahue of Chattanooga, Allison Sullivan (Bryce) Autret of Adams; great grandchildren, Avery LaCroix, John Sullivan, Jace LaCroix, Zachary Sullivan, Miles Donahue; sister, Faye Lentz Kinzer; brother, Wayne Lentz; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers Marc LaCroix, Kenneth Sullivan, Ryan Donahue, Bryce Autret, John Sullivan, and Jace LaCroix. Honorary pallbearers include Ms. Reba Anderson and Ms. Pauline Hayes.
