Dorothy Lee Miles Lewellyn

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Miles Lewellyn, 86, resident of Pleasant Wood Apartments in Mt. Pleasant, died Sunday, March 12, 2006 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10a.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Tol Burk and Andrew Roberts officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8p.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2p.m. Wednesday at New Hope Cemetery in Florence, Alabama. She was married to William Eugene Lewellyn, Sr. who preceded her in death in 1969. She was a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Bennett of Columbia; two sons, W. Gene (Vina) Lewellyn of Gulf Shores, AL, Ricky Lewellyn of Columbia; one sister, Eldora Crunk of Florence, AL; seven grandchildren, Barbara (Gary) Quinn, Brett (Sibyl) Lewellyn, Jimmy (Suzanne) Bennett, LeAnn (Wade) Shelton, Michael Lewellyn, Michelle Lewellyn, Megan Lewellyn; one step-grandson, Christian Maralit; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brett Lewellyn, Gary Quinn, Jimmy BennetT, Wade Shelton, Christian Maralit, Michael Lewellyn and Alexander Quinn.
