Dorothy Romig Sandusky

Dorothy Sophia Romig Sandusky, 85, widow of Johnny Myron Sandusky and resident of Highway 43 North in Ethridge, died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at the Lawrenceburg Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Jack Davis officiating. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Haven, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late R. D. Romig and Margaret Elizabeth Cook Romig. Mrs. Sandusky was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses February 7, 1959 and worshiped at the Lawrenceburg Kingdom Hall. Survivors include a son, Eric (Linda) Sandusky of Columbia; a daughter, Loretta Laverne Sandusky of Ethridge; three grandchildren, Shane Sandusky, Julie Sandusky Gwaltney, and Adam Sandusky; three great-grandchildren, Cameron Sandusky, Madison Gwaltney, and Zane Gwaltney; several nieces and nephews.
