Mrs. Dorothy Nell ?Dot? Bilbrey Vinson, 76, officer of Recreation Enterprise, Inc., retired cashier and manager of Sundown Drive-In Theatre, died Monday, June 16, 2003, at her residence on Pulaski Pike. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Kimbrough officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Bilbrey and Ellie Rushing Bilbrey. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Vinson was a charter member of Soroptomist International and a member of Variety Club International. Survivors include her husband of fifty-eight years, Henry Putnam ?H.P.? Vinson, Jr. of Columbia; two sons, Darrell Vinson and Vince (Sue) Vinson, both of Columbia; one sister-in-law, Betty Vinson of Columbia; nieces and nephews, Peggy Gee, Carolyn Ritchie, Robbie Downs, Pegg Jannotta, Mona Hoffman, Janice Vinson, Henry Vinson, Bobby Dill and Danny Knott. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Ann Vinson; one brother, Elmo Bilbrey, two sisters, Katie Bailey and Gracie Lois Knott, and a niece, Anita Knott. Pallbearers will be Scott Matta, Kevin Pease, Johnathon Counts, Randall Cheek, John Totty, and Larry Nickell. Honorary pallbearers will be Mohammad Ahsan, James Boyd, Leon Billingsley, Bobby Holloway, Dr. Bill Fuqua, Charles Sanders, Dr. Ben Gardner, Jerry Dickey, Rudolph Lockridge, Randolph Lockridge, Jimmy Lockridge, Donald Pulley, Jack Love, Robbie Brickner, Michael Lentz, and past and present caregivers.
