Dorothy M Weatherford

Dorothy Lemons Weatherford, 77, retired employee of Weather Tamer and resident of Pennington Bend Road in Nashville, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Summit Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 12 noon Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Ezell Rose officiating. Burial will in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5 - 8p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesnandnichols.com. The Willow, Arkansas native was the daughter of the late M.W. Lemons and Nancy Fite Lemons. She was married to William E. Weatherford who preceded her in death April 4, 1984. Mrs. Weatherford enjoyed quilt making, cooking and fishing. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Mickey (Jim) Strasser of Nashville; one grandson, Billy (Micah) Prentice of Columbia; two sisters, Blanche Watson and Mary (T.H.) Gray both of Malvern, Arkansas; and one brother, Eugene Lemons of Malvern, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by a sister, Roxie Key and two brothers, Clifford Lemons and Cecil Lemons. Pallbearers will be Randy Stanfill, David Parker, Ed Strasser, Everette Renfro, Dwight Fox and Bobby Parker.
