Mr. Douglas Eugene Rogers, 25, resident of Centerville, died Monday, January 7, 2008 at St. Thomas Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Ortonville, Michigan native was the son of Patricia June Davis Rogers of Centerville and the late Harley Edward Rogers. He was a graduate of Hickman County High School and attended Loyal Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his mother include a sister, Marcella (Ronnie) Potts of Culleoka; one brother, Robert Rogers of Centerville; and two nephews, James Neelley and Steven Neelley both of Culleoka. Pallbearers will be James Neelley, Steven Neelley, John Neelley, Joe Dugger, Ryan Brewer and Matt Potts.
