Mr. Dumont Fogg, 90, passed away Friday, April 28, 2006 at his residence on North Laurel Circle in Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Curtis Dowdy officiating. Interment will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and prior to services Sunday at the funeral home. He was a retired foreman at Fleming Sheet Metal and long-time member of Highland Avenue Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Woodman of The World. Mr. Fogg is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margaret Hill Fogg of Columbia; a daughter, Joan (Dan) Harmon of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Jimmy D. (Gayle) Fogg of Columbia; half-brother, Bobby (Ann) Fogg of Fayetteville; sister, Willa Childrey of Cleveland; six grandchildren, Chris (Terri) Fogg, Guy Fogg, Sherry (Scott) Fogg-Arnold, Neal Fogg, Dana (Kelly) Hunter, Julia (Florin) Grama; seven great-grandchildren, Kayla Fogg, Maggie Arnold, Garrett Fogg, Lewis Hunter, Spencer Arnold, Alexandru Grama, Lily Hunter; daughter-in-law, Shirley Fogg of Columbia. He was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Joel Fogg and Phillip Wayne Fogg; a grandson, Reese Harmon and five brothers. Pallbearers are Bill Hamilton, Tim Childrey, Scott Arnold, Guy Fogg, Neal Fogg and Chris Fogg.
