Dwyane Bryant Johnson, 52, resident of Nashville, died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at TriStar Skyline Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Swango officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to Dwayne Johnson Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1015, Columbia, TN 38402. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born June 30, 1966 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late James Leslie Johnson and the late Othelia Creel Johnson. He enjoyed music, playing computer games, watching movies, fishing, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Survivors include his sister, Paula Marie (Roy) Pinkard of Columbia; stepfather, Ray Pinkard; nieces, Leslie Matlock, Harley Beard; nephew, Tony Pinkard; great nephew, Roman Hambright; cousins, Donna and Bruce Johnson, Kristi and Keyanthony Henderson, Christionna Johnson, Chase Johnson, James “Bubba” Beard, Navaeah Johnson, and Keyonna Henderson.
