E Clifton White

Mr. Clifton White, 66, farmer and resident of the Water Valley Community, died Sunday, October 1, 2006 at his residence on Steam Mill Hollow Road. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Santa Fe Cemetery with Bro. Howard Alexander officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The Maury County native was the son of the late Ernest Mitchell White and Beadie Esther McCord White. He attended school in the Water Valley Community. Mr. White was a member of Water Valley Church of Christ. Survivors include his sister, Mrs. Wilma (James B.) Fitzgerald of the Water Valley Community and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Manny White and a sister, Mary Fox. Pallbearers will be David Fitzgerald, Everett Favors, Casey Favors, Bernis White, Randy Fox and Danny Cathey.
