Edith Sue Goolsby Brewer

Edith Sue Goolsby Brewer, 67, homemaker, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at her residence on Wilkinson Street in Saltillo, Tennessee. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 5:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Steve Swango officiating. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in Rose Hill Cemetery. Born August 4, 1952, in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Sam William Goolsby and the late Mary Juanita Haney Goolsby Staggs. Mrs. Brewer was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Elmer Dwayne Brewer of Saltillo; sons, Brian (Ami) Brewer of Jacksonville, Florida; Jason (Natalie) Brewer of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Hanna Brewer of Jacksonville, Florida; Haley Brewer of Jacksonville, Florida; Connor Brewer of Jacksonville, Florida; Maya Brewer of Murfreesboro; Bentley Brewer of Murfreesboro; Steven Smith of Murfreesboro; Jordon Smith of Murfreesboro; siblings, Sherry Kincaid of Austin, Texas; Jimmy (Suzanne) Goolsby of Columbia; Charles Goolsby of Spring Hill; Janie (Larry) Billington of Spring Hill; Debbie Oden (Herbert Fitzgerald) of Columbia; Stephanie Baker of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Terry Staggs.
