View Funeral WebcastMrs. Edith Wilson Voss, 90, died Monday, May 25, 2009 at her residence on Voss Road in Culleoka. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughn and Cory Bell officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Davidson County native was the daughter of the late Vernon Wilson and Lillian Martin Wilson. She was a graduate of Culleoka High School. On November 26, 1941 she married Hardin Fox Voss who preceded her in death May 16, 2009. She was a homemaker and a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include her sons, Terry Voss and Thomas H. (Sarah Jane) Voss both of Culleoka; three grandsons, Kevin Thomas (Lisa) Voss of Santa Fe, Matthew Eugene Voss of Wichita Falls, Texas, Michael Hardin Voss of Columbia; two sisters, Jean (Bobby) Childrey of Columbia, Peggy (Bill) Jones of Culleoka; one brother, Doug (Jane) Wilson of Franklin; two great-grandchildren, Logan Alise Voss of Wichita Falls, Texas, William Thomas Voss of Santa Fe; brother-in-law, J.L. Hobbs; three sisters-in-law, Patsy House Wilson, Jean Malone Wilson, Cornelia Wilson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Beatrice Hobbs, Reba Dixon and four brothers, Charles Wilson, Thomas Milton Wilson, Bobby Wayne Wilson and Wendell Wilkes "Buck" Wilson. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Elders and Deaconsof Culleoka Church of Christ.
