Mrs. Edna Price Bishop Hart, 87, died Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at her residence on Birchwood Drive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango and Rev. Bob Wells officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 11 - 1:00p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 109 E. 17th Street, Columbia, TN, 38401. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late H.S. Price and Bessie Kate Taylor Price. She was a graduate of Lawrence County High School. Mrs. Hart was a retired Avon Regional District Manager and an active member of Eastern Star. She was a member of Loyal Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, James A. Hart of Columbia; three step-children, James W. (Desta) Hart and Barbara Kay Ouellette both of Paducah, Kentucky, Mrs. Ann Smith of Maryland; two brothers, B.H. (Elsie) Price and James C. (Virginia) Price both of Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Lovett of Columbia; four grandsons, Mark R. Smith, James C. Hart, Daren P. Smith, John Wesley Cooper; three granddaughters, Teri Hart, Dawn Logeman, Kim Justice; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray Bishop who died in 1965 and two brothers, Len Price and David Price. Pallbearers will be Jeff Craig, Bud Creel, Walter Stills, Philip Parrish, Ray Adams and Steve Craig. Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Haywood, Daryl Bornstein, Troy Bowers, Ben Evans and Jeff Newsome.
