Edna Juanita Tomlinson Haydock, 81, retired Registered Nurse at Southern Hills Medical Center, and former resident of Columbia, died Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Tri Star Horizon Hospital in Dickson. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Brother Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Born March 15, 1938 in Kenton County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry Cowell Tomlinson and the late Verda Askins Tomlinson Sanders. She earned her Associate’s degree in nursing from Columbia State Community College. After retirement, she was a volunteer for Maury Regional Medical Center Auxillary. Ms. Haydock was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Ramona Evans of Austin, Texas; Kenneth (Cindy) Potts of Lyles; Michael (Gina) Potts of Columbia; sister, Goldie Harder of Columbia; grandchildren, Rebecca Evans, Dustin Potts, Kody Simmons, Rhonda Price, Christy Ross, Tracy Durfee, Ronnie Glen Hill; and great grandchildren, Darby Price, Jordan Price, Colby Ross, Kennedy Ross, Katherine Ross, Dylan Hill, Dawson Michael Potts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret James, and Christine Carpenter. Active pallbearers will be Dustin Michael Potts, Jerry Potts, Kody Todd Simmons, Eddie Scott, George Ross, and JR Phillips.
