Video memories of Edward S. GoldmanMr. Edward Sands Goldman, 79, retired farmer and employee of Hooker Chemical Company, died Sunday, January 30, 2005 at his residence in the Culleoka Community. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Andy Brown and Brother Tim McHenry officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery at Culleoka with military honors at the graveside provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post #19. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. The Giles County native was the son of the late James M. Goldman and Clara Sands Goldman. He attended schools in Giles County and served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Georgia Dee Wilson Goldman of Culleoka; four daughters, Debbie (Richard) Whitley and Patsy (Doug) Carrington of Culleoka, Sheila (David) Craig of Columbia, Karen Walker of Culleoka; three sons, Danny Ray (Donna) Goldman, Jerry Goldman and Ricky (Sheila) Goldman, all of Culleoka; 13 grandchildren, Keith Whitley, Scott Goldman, Brian Goldman, Leigh Ann Kelly, Jake Craig, Brittney Carrington, Lindsey Carrington, Kara Walker, Holly Goldman, Joshua Goldman, Mike Goldman, Aimee Goldman, Rachael Goldman, Eric Forrest and Brandon Donovan; 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Hall of Columbia; a brother, J. B. (Inez) Goldman of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Edward Goldman and a sister, Bonnie Jo McMillian. Grandsons serving as pallbearers are Scott Goldman, Brian Goldman, Jake Craig, Keith Whitley, Mike Goldman and Joshua Goldman. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Thomas Dake, Dr. Amit Choksi and Elders of the Culleoka Church of Christ.
