Edwin Bray “Eddie” Ferguson, 61, carpenter and resident of Blythe Circle, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at Maury Regional Medical Center.A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:30 P.M. at Arlington Cemetery with Mark Purcell officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.Born October 1, 1957, in Maury County, he was the son of the late Leslie Bray Ferguson and the late Dorothy Foster Ferguson Johnson. Mr. Ferguson was an avid NASCAR fan and loved drag racing and watching car shows. He also enjoyed woodworking and building things. Above all, he cherished spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include his daughter, Tiffani (Anthony) Cornelius of Columbia; son, Johnny Brooks of Columbia; sister, Jackie (Larry) Belew of Hohenwald; grandchildren, Haylee Oldham, Anthony Jacob Oldham, Anslee Cornelius, Julian Brooks, Trinity Brooks; niece, Tonya (Tim) Hodges; and great nephew, Austin Pierce.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
