Edwina Johnson Berlin

Edwina Johnson Berlin, 82, retired employee of American Greetings in Franklin and resident of Lookout Drive in Columbia, died Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Brookdale Assisted Living. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Cary Crews officiating. Burial will follow in Ring Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to Ring Cemetery, 4348 Highway 431, Columbia, TN 38401. Born February 5, 1936 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Alex Johnson and the late Bertha Elizabeth Childress Johnson. On March 31, 1956, she married Kenneth H. Berlin who preceded her in death June 21, 2013. Mrs. Berlin was a member of Old Lesea Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, Kenneth (Connie) Berlin, Jr. of Columbia; Terry D. (Kimberly) Berlin of Waynesboro; Karen (Steve) Beckham of Waynesboro; grandchildren, Kristal (Corey) Chrisman of Culleoka; Brenton (Nicky) Berlin of McMinnville; Aubree Willis of Waynesboro; Andy (Ashley) Beckham of Brentwood; Alex (Nena) Berlin of Columbia; Brady Berlin of Columbia; eight great grandchildren; and brother, Ray (Margaret) Johnson of Gallatin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Thomason. Active pallbearers will be Brenton Berlin, Andy Beckham, Alex Berlin, Brady Berlin, Corey Chrisman, and Phil Tidwell.
