Elizabeth Pauline Lynch Burgess, 59, former resident of Columbia, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.A memorial service will be conducted Friday, February 23, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Chip Hunter officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born May 6, 1958 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Lynch and the late Betty Stewart Lynch. Mrs. Burgess retired from Dougherty & Company as a Human Resource officer and had made her home in Minnesota for several years. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie (Angela) Burgess of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Michael Brandon (Melissa) Burgess of Maplewood, Minnesota; sister, Brenda (Donald) Lovely of Culleoka; brother, Tim (Cindy) Gaskel of Kenutcky; long-time friend, Charlie Stanley of Cannon Falls, Minnesota; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews
