View Funeral Webcast Elizabeth Lurlaine “Liz” Martin Hickman, 95, retired employee for The State of Tennessee Agriculture Department, died Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Tranditions of Spring Hill. A private graveside service will be held at Wilkes Cemetery with Reverend David Sawyer officiating. Oakes & Nichols Funeral directors are assisting the family with arrangements. Born August 3, 1925 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Sarah Elizabeth Mash Martin. On June 13, 1942, she married Zack Choate Hickman who preceded her in death June 1, 2016. Mrs. Hickman was a charter member of Crievewood Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, James D. “Don” (Malinda) Hickman of Spring Hill; daughters, Carolyn (Jim) Pennington of Brentwood; Pam (Sam) Feazell of South Lake, Texas; Patricia (Joe) Allen of Bowling Green, Kentucky; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Annie Mae Davidson.
