View Funeral Webcast Elizabeth McNeely Kincaid West, well-known antique dealer and resident of Hatcher Lane, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to www.oakesandnichols.com. Born and reared in the Brown's Chapel Community in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late David L. McNeely and Fannie Walker McNeely and attended school in the Rally Hill Community. She made her home in the Kedron Community until 1978 when she moved to Columbia to make her home. She lived at NHC Columbia for the past two years. In November, 1935 she married Joe Allen Kincaid who died in November, 1974. On February 4, 1980, she married Charlie Parker West who died July 16, 2005. Mrs. West's life-long love for attending auctions and flea markets turned into a business career as an antique dealer. She also enjoyed refinishing and refurbishing her antiques. She will be remembered for her vivacious personality, her openness and genuine interest in others, her generous spirit and her lively, cheerful disposition. As a child and young adult, she attended Brown's Chapel Church of Christ and for many years since was a member of West Seventh Street Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Lillie Dean "Deani" Kincaid Black and Edra Kincaid Clymore, both of Columbia; daughter-in-law, Sherry Kincaid of Austin, Texas; step-children, Suzanne West (Jerry) Turner, Charlene West (Roy) Paul, Jennie Grace West (Ricky) Jewell, and David (Cindy) West; grandchildren, Geri Lisa Black Potter, Tracy Peden, Rhonda Engel, Janet Bale, Kenny Clymore, Joni Kincaid, and Cindy Andrews; several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Lauren Kirkland, Macy Devore, Kaitlyn Devore, Michael Haywood, John Engel, Laura Engel, Ben Bale, Jenna Bale, Angel Clymore, Tiffany Guild, Amber Atteberry, Clinton Dunkel, Crystal Sankey, Diana Andrews; several step-great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren, Tyler, Summer, Colin, Bryson, Preston, Veronica, Sydney, Wrenn, Kenneth, Carter, and Jordon; great-great-great-grandchild, Jade; sisters-in-law, Ruth McNeely and Aline McNeely; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, J. D. Kincaid; grandson, Darrell Black; granddaughter, Theresa Michele "Missy" Kincaid; great-granddaughter, Lisa Jo Potter McGaw; sister, Sarah Jane McNeely Farris; brothers, William S. McNeely, James D. McNeely, Leonard W. McNeely, Jesse "Bunt" McNeely. Serving as active pallbearers are Harold Parks, Harry Lunn, Larry Derryberry, Mitchell Rummage, Edward Harmon, Randy Peden, Donald Kincaid, Bayless Kincaid. The family extends special thanks to NHC Columbia and Caris Hospice for their care and concern during her illness.
