Elizabeth Faye Cochran White

Elizabeth Faye Cochran White, 70, former longtime employee of Weather Tamer and resident of Wedgewood Drive, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Friday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Jake "Billy" Cochran and the late Geneva Irene Capps Cochran. She was a member of First Family Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of forty years, Hugh Douglas White, Jr. of Columbia; son, Nathan (Christine) White of Columbia; grandchildren, Phoenix White and Xavier White, both of Columbia; step-daughter, Tammy (Tommy) Carroll of Columbia; step grandsons, Randy (Erin) Carroll of Hixson; Coty (Maegan) Carroll of Columbia; step great grandchildren, Madeline Carroll, Ella Carroll, Grayson Carroll, and Hadley Carroll; brothers, Billy Cochran, Ronald (Cherie) Cochran, and Donald "Duck" Cochran, all of Hickman County; sisters-in-law, Phyllis White and Resie Lee White Goodwin; and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Tommy Carroll, Randy Carroll, Coty Carroll, Daniel Cochran, Ronald Cochran, and Steve Odom. Honorary pallbearers will include Billy Cochran, Donald Cochran, Tony Potts, and Shawn Casteel.
